Terms of Service
By using SigmaList you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable — no legalese traps.
1. Who can use SigmaList
SigmaList is available to users who are granted access via our invite system. By signing in, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).
2. Your account
Your account is created through a third-party OAuth provider (Google, Microsoft, or Apple). You are responsible for maintaining the security of that provider account. We are not responsible for access lost due to a compromised OAuth provider account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.
3. Your content
You own everything you put into SigmaList. We do not claim any rights to your lists or items.
By using AI features (Generate, Categorize), you grant us permission to send the relevant text to our AI provider (xAI's Grok API) for processing on your behalf. We do not use your content to train AI models.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use SigmaList to:
- Store, share, or process illegal content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service
- Circumvent access controls or exploit vulnerabilities
- Use shared links to distribute harmful content to others
5. Shared lists
When you share a list, you take responsibility for who you share it with. Anyone with a view or edit link can access that list. You can revoke access at any time.
6. Service availability
SigmaList is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it running but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for data loss, downtime, or any damages arising from use of the service.
We strongly recommend exporting important lists periodically as a precaution.
7. AI-generated content
The Generate and Categorize features are powered by AI and may occasionally produce incorrect, incomplete, or unexpected results. Always review AI-generated lists before acting on them. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI output.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy is part of these terms and governs how we handle your data.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
